Ras Al Khaimah is one of the seven emirates which forms the complete UAE located between Hajjar Mountains on the eastern side and on the western side it’s surrounded by the Arabian Gulf. This city of RAK is further divided into two parts by a creek known as the western and the eastern part. The western part generally comprises of various educational institutions, shopping malls, residential areas and several new construction projects and is known as the ‘old Ras Al Khaimah’, however, the eastern part is known as ‘Al Nakheel’ which comprises of some governmental departments, hospitals, exhibition areas, RAK exhibition centers etc. Al Nakheel in RAK is a residential area dotted with date-palms featuring the Emiri Court, hospitals, markets and residential areas too. The network of modern roads and a bridge connect these two parts of the city together.
